A Sweet Lil Show for Amber!

We are throwing a Benefit/Show for our friend, Amber Vickers, who is traveling all the way from Boise, Idaho to NYC to see us play. :)

We decided that since Amber is so amazing, we want to do something special for her. Since the show at Rockwood is free(!)--we are going to donate our tips, and our cd/merch sales from the performance to the Lupus Foundation of America-- cuz Amber has Lupus, and quite frankly, it sucks! (Please visit http://www.lupus.org to find out what lupus is all about) And she continues to be her fabulous self, smiling through the continuous adventures that Lupus has taken her on.

We can't wait to put on a FABULOUS show for Amber...
but we need you all to come and make it even better!

Happy Friday! Happy Labor Day! Happy Long Weekend!

We are delighted to announce that our next gig will be very interesting. Aya, Mike, Christa, my cello and I will be performing this Wednesday, September 9th, at 6pm in a new series called, "Live at Best Buy." As an opportunity to expose independent musicians and allow them to sell their cd's, we were asked to perform at the 23rd and 6th avenue store. So why don't you join us? Come make a fuss so that all of the people at Best Buy will buy cd's, tell their friends, and all of a sudden we will be huge in Europe. :)

There won't be "seats," at this gig, but there will be Erin and Her Cello...For Free!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st! 2-4pm Erin and Her Cello will be headlining (!?! wha??!!) their first comedy gig-- the NY LAUGHS Festival. East River Park Ampitheatre: Enter via pedestrian walkway from Cherry Street at FDR Drive.

NYLaughs Inc. is a not for profit organization and New York City's newest Arts institution. Through the production of FREE comedy performances set within NYC's myriad of public venues, NY Laughs seeks to provide laughter to everyday New Yorkers and elevate the profile and reputation of the Comedic Arts. FRIDAY JULY 24th 9PM-10PM Erin and Her Cello will be the featured guests of "Art Wave," on Columbia University's WKCR 89.9 FM Radio. Tune in as they will be interviewed and give an in studio performance with host Christina Myer.

SATURDAY AUGUST 1st 2PM Erin and Her Cello will be headlining an afternoon performance for NYLaughs.org-- taking FREE comedy to the people. Join Erin and Her Cello as they trek down to the East River Park Ampitheatre and attempt to induce excessive laughter in the sweet summer sun. (Enter via pedestrian walkway from Cherry Street at FDR Drive, also Houston or Delancey streets) FREE! FREE! FREE!

THEN! at 8PM on Saturday EVENING!

Erin and Her Cello will be joined by the lovely Ms. Aya Kato on piano at ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL, their favorite downtown venue owned by Ken Rockwood.
