Trustees, Temples, and Tuts!

Ladies! Gentlemen!  We are excited to announce our next performance will be on SATURDAY, APRIL 30th, 7pm at ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL, STAGE 2!   BUT! We have something to show you...

This photo was taken from our latest gig at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We had the opportunity to perform for the esteemed Bob Kerrey, and his wife Sarah Paley,  in a celebration of his tenure as President of The New School. (Our alma mater!) Our band was asked to perform, and the evening also featured performances by the lovely Abigail Washburn,  and The Steve Martin.

It was a gorgeous evening in a spectacular New York City landmark. We were thrilled, honored, and delighted to perform for such remarkable people.  Thank you to Bob and Sarah for including "Erin and her Cello" in their celebration of The New School.  We wish them joy in their adventures to come!

And to Mr. Martin--  WE LOVE KING TUT! ... almost as much as we love The Great Remember. :)

So! For those of you who could not attend our "Met Debut"...come check us out SATURDAY, APRIL 30th, 7pm at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2!

Let's all go to the theater!

"If music be the food of love, play on."~ Sir William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night.

For the Shakespeare (and Erin and her Cello) Fans of the Five Boroughs, we'd like to propose a dazzling performance: Twelfth Night at the What You Will Speakeasy !!!  William Shakespeare's delightful comedy is transported to the What You Will Speakeasy in the 1920's. Skirts are short, jazz is queen, and the champagne is flowing. Charming, flirty, and fiery: this will be a night to remember!

The show begins tonight,  September 29th running til October 3rd, 2010.  The play itself commence at 7pm sharp with no late seating! However, arrive early!!! With the purchase of your ticket, you will receive a complimentary glass of champagne, as well as delighting in pre-show music composed by Erin! Please click here to purchase tickets! Seating is extremely limited and shows are already selling out. (Had we not been so busy composing and rehearsing we would have posted this earlier! Please forgive us!)

Not only will the performance feature music composed  for Toy Piano, Ukelele, Banjolele, Voice and Xylophone, but Erin and her Cello backup singers ANNA MARQUARDT and ADAM ENRIGHT will, at last,  show you their shakespearean prowess!!!  (Scene Stealers, they are!)

TWELFTH NIGHT at the What You Will Speakeasy *  Sept. 29th-Oct. 3, 2010 By Sir William Shakespeare * Director: Deborah Wolfson  * Composer: Erin Hall * Costume Designer: David Withrow * Stage Manager: Jenna Lazar FOR TICKETS: CLICK HERE.

In other news, Erin and her Cello with Aya on her fancy keyboard will be serenading other theater folks tonight, as we entertain the masses following a performance of Trans-Euro Express at the Irish Arts Center!  The Irish Arts Center is located at 553 W. 51st St. between 10th and 11th avenues. We will be playing around 10pm...a jazzier set, if you will.

See you at the theater! ~Erin and her Cello
